Information

Sixth Grade morning line-up is on the blacktop in
front of school (door 1).
Dismissal/exit is via the doors by our classrooms
(door 7).

One of the greatest goals in Sixth Grade is to
further develop each child's personal level of
responsibility.

Each student is responsible for:
making GOOD CHOICES,
using his/her time WISELY
being respectful at ALL times
& doing his/her OWN work.

Behavior expectations and classroom expectations are discussed on numerous occasions, are aligned with thePBIS Behavior Matrix, and are posted in our
classroom.

STUDENTS WHO ARE ABSENT HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY AND
RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLETE MISSED CLASSWORK.

ABSENCES LASTING 3 OR MORE DAYS MAY REQUIRE A
DOCTOR'S NOTE PROVIDED TO THE SCHOOL NURSE UPON
RETURN.

WHENEVER POSSIBLE PRE-ARRANGED ABSENCES SHOULD BE
REPORTED TO THE OFFICE STAFF AND TEACHER WELL IN
ADVANCE OF THE DATES TO BE MISSED.

IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO RECORD WHAT
ASSIGNMENTS WERE MISSED, ASK FOR CLARIFICATION, AND
COMPLETE THEIR WORK INDEPENDENTLY.
TEST OR ASSESSMENTS THAT OCCUR DURING ABSENCES MUST
BE COMPLETED BY A DUE DATE PROVIDED BY THE
CLASSROOM TEACHER.

CLASSWORK WILL NOT BE PROVIDED IN ADVANCE TO STUDENTSFOR PRE-ARRANGED ABSENCES, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
BARTLETT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HANDBOOK.
